Joe, Fun overall area to explore, Noonday has some steep, off camber areas with notable drop offs that I would be more than a bit concerned about if it iwas wet and muddy out.

Jonny, that's funny, I see your long list of Samurais, I keep thinking it would be nice to build a stretched, half-cab Samurai, although I do enjoy my Sidekick.

Looks like a fun time. Bohemia is not far from my house, I have had the pleasure of exploring that area a few times. Every time I have been up there was with people who are friends with the miners. There is still a large number of active claims up there and many of the trails leading to them are tiny donkey trails clinging to the side of eroding rocky hills. Passable with a decent 4x4, and maintained by either miners, their 4x4 friends or the South Valley 4x4 Group. You can literally spend days up there exploring, and if you have keys/combinations to the gates like some of my friends do, you can do even more exploring. Unfortunately the Annual SVG Invitational was cancelled this year due to fire danger. Champion creek is also great in the snow. I've seen 10'+ drifts, on a road about 10' wide.

Yep, that's what I want to do with one of my parts Samurais, if I ever get the time.  Stretch the wheelbase out to around 100", cut the body behind the targa build a light square tube bed.

Jonny, yes, cutting up one seems to be the only way, unless by some miracle I stumble into a SJ410K

At 6'2" I need the cab space (leg room) though and the SJ410k cab is very tight from what I've read.  I would also like the aspect of a rag top trucklet.

Too bad we cannot get this in the US.

Might be tight for me too, I'm 5'11.  As usual, the other countries get the good Suzukis
