i have no lift what so ever but the extra length in the shock allowed the spring too droop all the way and still stay in place ( not fall off) big difference

I did go with the F-150 shocks.  They are longer, so I cut and moved the upper mount.  So I was able to "dial" it in to the perfect length.

But, what a difference in both the ride and travel.  The ride is next to stock and thats with the Calimini front struts (next year I'm going with the OME struts).  The rear end works unbeleveable!

I'm trying '01 TJ front shocks tomorrow. Got them for free from a friend after he did his lift...I will post the results.
