Here is how I built mine.  http://www.zukiworld.com/forum/build-diaries-how-to-diy/tracker-2x4-rockers-frnt-bmper-4-dr-sprngs-lwered-frnt-diff-$30-steel-frnt-diff/
It was one of the early modifications in that very long ongoing build.  I have done some modifications to it, so if you get serious about converting it, contact me or start a build thread in DIY and I will help with more information.
It wasn't that hard to do, and hasn't broke (even with 33's and 185hp).
93 Tracker,XL7 springs & 1" raised spring pads in front with YJ springs in back, home built bumpers rear & front (w/winch), 2" x 4" rock tubes,  ARB front & rear, converted Sami rear to IFS, 33x12.5x15  aluminum rims, roll cage, 2.7L w/5 speed auto.

I miss read you question.
It looks like the ring gear is damaged, so pinion gear is probably damaged.  You can use the ring gear and pinion gear from your track/kick in that housing.  As the pinion nut is already removed from the cast third you will have to work from scratch, as I do not know if measurements on the aluminum housing.
You will need at the least a new crush sleeve and a pinion bearing set is suggested.  (If old bearings are good, they could be swapped, but there is probability of damage in removing the races which should be swapped with the bearings.)  If you are swapping in 5.125 gears you will need a "can" to hold the pins in the housing also.
You can make a band to go around the snout on the pinion to hold it in place on the cross member, or you can make one like on the aluminum third and weld it in place.  I used stainless rod to weld mine on.  Welding it in place gets very hot and should/may damage the race, so weld before changing the races.
There are several instructions on correctly installing gears, the best one is to have the gears installed by someone that is experienced.  Being just a little of can quickly destroy the gears.

Sent from my phone, so may be a little cryptic.
