I have a 40amp alt in my 1.3L 86 sammy.

here's a list of all my accessories:

Four 50w baja lights

One 8000lb winch

One CB Radio

One GPS

No AC, no stereos.

My question is will the stock 40amp alt produce enough juice to power up all these accessories? + wiper and heater fan

someone told me that GM 105amps alt will take a lot of power from the engine and will burn the belt.

is there a bolt on alt with higher amps? without a custom made mount bracket?

i'm new to samurai

thanks!

I run a sidekick alt on mine, it checks out at 69 amps and works fine you might have to change the bottom pully if you can't change the top one but it might bolt up better.
