Just curious if anyone is planning a run in the next month or so?

Not in the next month or so but we've been trying to hammer out another Naches, Washington trip early this summer. So far, it's been hard to get settled on a date.

Hey Bash, a guy from my club has been itching to go out, he lives near Everette though, so it would be a bit of a drive for one of you.  If you send me a number I can have him contact you, or just post over on our forums.

There is a trash cleanup at Reiter on May 1st as well, I should be up and running if you wanted to meet up there.  :)

I'm in the Everett area as well.  Been wanting to make a newbie trip to Reiter.  Mostly since I have never been there and my zuki is stock.

I'm ready to go wheeling this Saturday or Sunday (28th/29th).  I live in Magnolia, right next to Seattle.  I've been to Reiter several times.  I wouldn't mind meeting some new people.  All my regulars are always "unavailable" to go wheeling with me.  I wanna get out as much as possible this summer, but i never go by myself.

Shoot me a message or reply back here if you're interested.  Stock suzuki's (sami's or kicks) are fine, just might need a push or pull here and there, but there's plenty to fool around on for a whole day.

I should have 2 or 3 vehicles at the Trash cleanup on the 6th from my club.  If people want to run stocker capable trails after words I can bring the Tracker down.  If not I'll just post next time we are looking to make a run.

I'll post on the board and see if Shawn is available to play this weekend.  I would call him, but I left my phone at home.  :P

I was told today, of course by a jeep owner, that a stock sidekick has no business going to Reiter.  Since I have never been there I had nothing to back myself up.  Is Reiter going to be too tough for a stocker?

the reason for that is jeep owners are tired of looking bad when zuks are around.
I was told by one at moab one year, could you make it look harder so my wife will get off my ass for spending so much.

It depends on where you go/how much you want to beat it up.  Reiter is like a big sand box when it comes to wheeling, you don't have to run BYS to enjoy yourself.

You can take a stock Zuki up the first half of the Isabel trail, and probably get one up to just under the Index Wall (The end of the trail is closed to motorized access ever since some idiots started throwing beer cans down the cliff at climbers).  There are also several trails that I have taken my tracker on when it was stock and had road tires on it, not even ATs.  It didn't go quite as smooth as my SJ, but that is to be expected.  :P

I will admit that there are trails you have no business being on, but you can do just about anything a quad can do, and they run all over up there.  Heck, I've even seen Subaru's running around.  :)

But if you want to meet up, pick up some trash and get a free lunch then hit some small little side trails, feel free to show up on the 6th.

As for not belonging, a lot of people claim Claw Hammer isn't a place for a Zuki on 31's.  Yet, it worked well enough for a guy in my club.  :)

I've known a few people to take stock trackers/sidekicks thru reiter.  There are easy trails, which don't take all day, that any 4x4 can go thru, but like the other guy said, if quads can go thru, so can a sidekick.

The trails i'm talking about are "back door" and "sac-up" mainly, but there's a whole bunch of power lines with little obstacles to play around on and that.

Now ELBE is a place that i've been told not to take my sidekick....

Here's a link to some photos my friend took while i was up there at Reiter a few months back.  It definitely doesn't look hard in the photos, but we were mostly fooling around all day.

If you didn't know they rebuilt Sack-Up and took out all the bypasses.  So you might want to avoid that trail unless your built a bit.  :)

But your right about the small trails.  Not to mention all the little dirt trails that simply cut between the different roads.  Below is a link to some pictures from Isabel from a run last fall.

Crikey - That is a really clean Sidekick.  Looks nice.  :)
