I need more room and power. The Trailblazer and the Envoy will look good in a few years when the used ones are more affordable. The Pathfinder does not look big enough. Any suggestions. I love my zuk, so I found a way to get more room out of it.....I think it dont look too bad. I forgot how to get the picture to display without having to click it first.
If you wanna stick with a Zuk there's the Gen 1 XL-7. Basically a stretched GV from the factory w/ seating for 7. The Gen 2 is just an overengineered Chevy Equinox.
I just saw a 2003 XL-7 for sale with no 3rd row. Its a nice rig for the price. I read on the XL-7 forum that the guys were disappointed with the power and mpg. The towing capacity is the same as my town and country. The Trailblazer and Envoy have 85 more horses, and same mpg.
About that depatrure angle. My 2inch receiver hitch is welded below the cross bar, so on this last trip I hit it a few times. Maybe this winter I will see if I can flip it over. I am not sure there is room for it though.
That 4.3l conversion would be great, and I could pull a lot I'm sure. I have some bigger dogs to take along, and a 14yr old son who is now several inches bigger than me, that is making the zuk more crowded these days.

My whole thing is to get out and away and off the beaten path. This Zuk is a freedom thing with me.
I did some other photo tweaking. I like the first pickup. Here are a few more picts.
