Gents,

I am considering buying a 2006 1.6L 2dr GV. I am not quite sure whether its an AWD all time or a rear wheel drive. It doesn't have the 4x4 selector knob and I didn't get a chance to have a look underneath the car.

Appreciate your inputs

If you are looking for 4X4, buy one.  The computers in that new of a vehicle will make converting it to 4X difficult.  Anything can be tried    once.
93 Tracker,XL7 springs & 1" raised spring pads in front with YJ springs in back, home built bumpers rear & front (w/winch), 2" x 4" rock tubes,  ARB front & rear, converted Sami rear to IFS, 33x12.5x15  aluminum rims, roll cage, 2.7L w/5 speed auto.

YES

The 4x4 has and emblem on back and a switch on dash.  I suspect the AWD would also have the emblem, but look under it for a front diff. and axles,  Or just ask the seller, then check.
