My 86 Suzuki samurai build
« on: June 30, 2015, 07:29:23 PM »

This is the start of it runs great 4x4 works it's got some cons like the previous owner welded the lugs to the studs and the studs to the rotors so working out the kinks but it's a good start

First few coats of primer. I went with the seats from summit and make my own mounting brackets from angle iron
I got the bumper for free from my brother it was on his 90s model Chevy with a little mods it welded right up

The new tires I picked up today they are a 31x10.5r15 and they rub on the leafs so I'm searching for some spacers after I fix my lug problem so what do yall guys think so far so good

Well, it "runs great and the 4X4 works" so I don't see how you can go wrong.  The welded studs are kinda strange.    There are plenty of guys with Sammy's in better initial state... but they have problems with them running, so you are ahead of the game already.

So, what are your plans for your Sammy?  What's next?

Good stuff. Going to start my build soon and you gave me the push to actually get started. Cheers and stay tuned. Hopefully I will actually follow through and post pics and progress.
