WHEELING IN BEAUTIFUL BRITISH COLUMBIA
« on: July 18, 2015, 07:56:17 PM »
OK so I've been thinking about this a lot and there are a few west coasters on this forum. Thinking about a weekend rip in the back country of BC  west coast. There are some good spots but it depends on what everyone wants to do my tracker is open so locker is not in my forecast, do peeps want fsr with mild or extreme 4x so before I can figure out where to go. I want  everyone to have  a good time, and would like some feed back so I can get this thing rolling was thinking late august early sept  let me know so I can see if some guys from a local group can help me out with this weekend rip
                                                    thx beagle

A BC run would be a fun thing to do.  If you can find scenic spot to drive/run/crawl  to/through/over it should be successful.
If it is before September, I should be able to make it.

well there is 2 spots I was thinking about
first- east Harrison it has some cool mountain views , natural hot tubs, this is fsr that would take us from Harrison hot springs to boston bar and back through the fraser canyon

second - whipsaw I  have no idea what it consists from as ive never been here and would ask peeps from another site to take us there unless someone has been there

Hey, I'm local and possibly in too. I've been wheeling SW BC for a very long time...

As I'm sure you know, it's all about the lakes here and the journey to them, Chehalis Lake is a cool destination from Harrison West.

The campfire ban takes the soul out of having a great place to rest for the night, sad stuff and it probably won't be lifted anytime soon thoughout this region. If you go farther afield, like north of Lillooet along the Fraser there's some awesome scenic desert terrain with limited bans. Search: Big Bend, Chilcotin, China Mountain etc

Beagle, if all those people in the first photo showed up at my place, my wife would have told me to take a hike also.

Good view, even with the smoke.

Well, well, well... work went and messed everything all up for me.

I've been extended through the end of the year.  :o

Chances are slim that I can play
