MAF trouble code 0102

Hello guys I got a 0102 MAF code.before I start work'n on it,i was hope'n one of you guys mite know what else can trip this code if there is such a thing.i did a quick test with a DMM and I got like over 5.64mA on the output wire.But I don't know what specs are.There was a weird thing when I had the DMM on DC volts it red over 12...? i didn't retest that yet,as I been try'n to find the spec mA or volts for the MAF input wire first.WOW I hate wiring...lol.

I would suggest that you download the 96 FSM from ACKsfaq.com. From what I recall the supply to the MAF is 12V.The output is technically in mA but is specified as a voltage at idle.

Ignition ON engine OFF, output should be 1 - 1.6V, it will need to be connected so back-probe it.

Well i got .6 to .7 volts on the output wire .so looks like a new MAF sensor huh.

 A can of MAF cleaner at autozone is $8 at  i was under the impression if contacts are clean voltage reading should come up if you have not tried cleaner for 8 bucks not much to lose.i had same codes on my first 2.0 engine and it cleared them
