Tracker ZR2 fender flare/mud flap trimming
« on: May 03, 2016, 09:13:14 PM »
I got a 2003 2 door ZR2 and need to cut off the part of the front fender flare that hangs down.

Anyone done this before? I have to keep the flare because of the clip holes in the fender but the lower back part of the front flares got to go.

Might be a good idea to post a picture - so we can see where it is you want to cut.

What about removing the factory plastic fender cladding and add some soft fender flair extensions instead that could cover the holes of from the plastic fender cladding?  I think it would look better and it would surely be far more durable out on the trails than the factory plastic that just cracks off when you smack it against something.

The rear fender flare is no big deal it is actually a separate piece. On the front I was thinking of cutting it square with the rocker panel.
