Fender cutting
« on: June 27, 2016, 07:14:31 PM »
Hey guys really looking into cutting the fenders on my samurai. My brother recently did it to his jeep and it took us quite a while. What I am wanting to know is what is the best tool to use for cutting fenders.

Thank You

The BEST would probably be a plasma cutter while following the line over the top of a pre-cut mold for the cut line.  The next best, probably a 3" or 4.5" die grinder with a cutting wheel, again tracing over a mold you want to cut to keep the lines even and uniform on both sides.  Beyond those two... I guess it would then be an acetylene torch and then tin snips.
'02 Chezuki Tracker with a 2 Liter and 5spd.  It works for me!!!
