I recently acquired a 95 Tracker with the 1.6 L 16 valve EFI engine and want to put it in my 86 Sami.
I already have a 1.6 Tracker block in it, with a 1.3 head and oil pan, motor mounts and bellhousing adaptor.
If anybody has done the complete conversion to the EFI engine, I could sure use some helpful hints and tips.
I realize it'll be a lot of work to do the electricals, but my sami insurance is 75 bucks for six months compared to the $218 I was quoted for the 95 Tracker.
The tracker isn't worth putting on the road so I will save the engine, and part out the rest.
I traded a cord of wood for the Tracker because the engine has a bad bearing knock, and I can rebuild it, so at this point  I'm not into it for any money other than title cost at MVD.
