There is no modification needed if you only run the OME kit. The complication is only due to running the body lift. All you have to do is raise the strut brace the same amount as your body lift. Basically, you need a spacer that bolts on to the top of the strut mount where the brace would normally bolt on, and then you would bolt the brace onto the spacer. My pics aren't great, but on a previous rig many years ago I had a Masterkit1 (out of business) body lift that included the brace spacers I described. Hope this helps:

Ignore the blue strut spacer, what you are looking for is the black piece ABOVE that.

I just googled this for you. I found this available from 4x4art in Turkey, but you could just get something made up locally:

03 XL7 2.7 5 speed, 4.5" AE lift with OME springs, 2" AE body lift, 5.13 diffs, 3:1 low, 235/80R17 BFG AT's on Ultra 17x8 with 1" spacers, skid plates, Balmer Fab front bumper

I just put a 2" body lift on my 2003 XL7 and tried to make a pair of spacers like the yellow ones above but they didn't work out. Turns out...the absolute EASIEST way to make the strut brace work with a body lift, is to just take a cutoff wheel and open up the factory holes another 2 inches down the inner fender. Takes 15 minutes total and if you do a good job, nobody can even tell you did anything. Total cost: $0

Full system with all new control arms, front diff drop, drive shaft spacer, rear link, breke lines, ect... them most complete kit I have found. Wish they had that one when I did mine all they had was a 2 inch spacer kit at the time. Good company to deal with.
