Smog failed Cat question
« on: December 14, 2017, 03:18:38 PM »
California is getting a little rough with the mandatory Smog fees.  New car you pay smog abatement and used car you have to have a smog done.  I fix it every 2 years so what the heck.  Time to register it in another State

Failed with the fuel separator on the gas tank and the Catalytic Converter.  I found a 1997 Zuk - anyone know if the 1992 and 1997 Cats are compatible?  Anyone know where I can get one at a reasonable price?  How about the separator which is the little plastic box on the top of the gas tank?

Since you can't buy a used one I bit the bullet and after $365 I passed my smog in Cali - Good for 2 more years
