Not only are leafs much easier to set up, but they are cheaper, too. Heims, poly bushings, or spherical bearings are all hard on the pocketbook, and considering this is a budget buildup (to the extreme
) coils/links were just too expensive. I'd still prefer coils, and might go to them down the road.
About the front: I had a Land Cruiser front axle, but it was coarse-splined and had front drums... the Scout II D44's I'm using have discs in the front.
