Time off is verified.  Grin

Is there a list of recommended items to bring?  Such as a type of radio and such?

Our group usually runs CB's. I would bring things to keep warm with. We went in 04 and it was a little chilly. Nothing unbarable just cold at night. We did end up using a small tent heater when the clouds cleared out though.
Other than that I would recomend keeping the gear as minimal as possible. We break camp and travel with all the gear in our rigs for most of the trip. Some great sights and cool things to do on this trip. I am looking foreward to it. Grin

Do you need a ride?got a cheap rental
Place to stay?dont think so, but not sure yet
Beer? YES!!!!!! Always  Grin
let me know brotha... Thanks
We are arriving Thursday around noon. We were planning on doing about the same thing Dad and I did in 94. We were going to cruse around town and check it out for a few hours, then head south to stop and visit with you and the family, grab a few of those good ol Oregon Micro Brews and wing it from there. (Probably get a room close to Erics to be colse to Hermy so we dont have to get up early to get ready. I'll talk to Eric to see when we need to be there to load up, do final vehicle check, buy and load a cooler, etc..... I'll talk to Eric and we'll discuss more after that.

Yes more info. I would LOVE to take our dirty, smelly,dusty,tired group through an art museum. The look on people's faces would be pricless. Especially when they hear Zig talk.

My Grandmother volunteer curator down there, they had one of the European exibits last time I was in Portland with one of the Madonna paintings.  It looks like they will have an ancient Egypt collection in there in November.
