LaPine, OR.,  Ft. Rock, Crack in the Ground, and Christmas Valley. - 3 Day Adventure

The Fall Classic - Many geologic features to see ending at Christmas Valley. A huge very unpopulated recreational dunes area. Possible spelunking, exploration of runes, plus lots of sand-spitting, axle-twisting, throttling action as we traverse the wide open and dramatic dunes in Christmas Valley. This will be a 'Wagon Train' type adventure.

For more information:

We will be trying something different this year. We will be setting up a base camp and be doing a really big loop on Saturday so that we do not have to carry our gear with us while we explore. The dates are November 16-18th. (Friday Through Sunday) To be included and to get specific instructions RSVP me by Private Message and you will be placed on 'the list' to receive information.

November 16-18th Friday - Sunday

or

November 17-19th Saturday - Monday

I've also figured out a loop so that the two nights camping will be in the same location. (no lugging of gear and re-setting up camp)

I think the fri-sun works best for me.

I like the idea of leaving camp setup - thats so much easier!

Can't wait for this trip!!! Smiley

I'm just hoping I can arrange it seeing how it will be less than a month after I start in the Nashville office. Not looking so good, but I'm gonna try.

I've been busy fabbing and welding on my sami with this trip in mind -- can't wait to head out with everyone and test out the new stuff!  Grin

Sounds like a good trip to take the Grand Vitara on.

A 'no go' for me this year. Way to close to the transfer to the new office. But I will be back next year.

Does anyone want some salmon on the first day of the trip?  We have a freezer in need of thinning out and I would be more then happy to bring a slab of King down with me along with a BBQ.  Smiley
