The Summer is fast approaching and we haven't picked dates for any adventures. Due to a shorter season and high gas prices it may not be possible to do everything. Smiley So, take a look at the Adventure 2008 adventure description page http://www.zukiworld.com/section_promotions/2008_adventureseries.htm (there are also many stories in the archive section from previous trips that may help to describe the activity.) and see if anything strikes your fancy.

If so, look for that choice in the list above and select it. The more popular event(s) will be selected.

Please vote and send a link to this thread to you adventure buddies who may want to attend.

Thank you, Eric

Eric,

Something to think about.  Since there was a lot of snow fall this winter the Naches area will open later this year.  The July dates should be ok for this trip.  That is if it is chosen.

Yes, the long winter has definitely shorten the wheeling season this year.

So if there is a slim chance in hell that someone can make it later this year, should he vote? If said person was possibly looking for a good one to test out a new toy Evil, which one would be a good choice  Undecided

You'll have it in Or-E-gun now? I know it's selling up in the north east, but I could not get it in FL or TN yet  Cry Do you'll have mild trails at the Power Fest so I wont get skeert  Roll Eyes

Is anyone thinking about the Naches, WA., Shoestring, Funny Rocks, Manastash Ridge trip?  I was up there this weekend on the Manastash side and had a lot of fun, especially cutting a trail through the snow drifts on top of the ridge.  Cheesy

I've been getting a lot of feedback that people/families are just not able to take long trips right now because of the fuel squeeze. I think a fair bit of people are planning on smaller trips much closer to home for the forseeable future. I know I'd like to get up there this year but I don't think it's going to happen... sigh.

Yea, that is why I was looking at it instead of the Oregon runs.  Tongue

Ya, I know... I think to round out the year we're going to have the Powerfest '08 and the "Fall Classic". Then, it's off to a brand new year of fun and frolic.
