LOS ANGELES, CA —American Suzuki Motor Corporation makes a
bold statement with the debut of their "California Dreaming" show vehicle, the
Grand Vitara Platinum at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

Owing its name to its polished silver exterior paint,
the Platinum keeps a clean, low-profile look. The wrap-around body kit highlights the
Grand Vitara’s natural good looks with a custom grille and front spoiler, which
arches into broad front fenders. The Platinum’s standard bodylines are enhanced by
smooth body-side molding and wide custom running boards that flow into the broad rear
fenders. The rear of this California cruiser is aerodynamically
complemented with an angular airfoil, custom bumper and chrome-tipped exhaust. |
Riding in style, the Platinum is decked out with tinted windows, custom two-tone leather
interior, and air conditioning with micron air filtration. The Grand Vitara Platinum is
equipped with a 155-hp, 24-valve DOHC V6 engine and shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive.
