"Lean and Mean" -Shawn Simpson from Colorado sent us this
picture of his '89 sidekick, it has toyota pickup axles, both w/ ez lockers. I have a
samurai trans. case mated to the back of the stock 'kick case for a double low range
(4.14:1 w/ both in low), it has an automatic tranny swapped from a '90 tracker. Suspension
is a heim-jointed 3- link front and rear using stock 'kick coils mounted to drop-arms for
extra travel. I have 14' rancho 9012's. The engine has been rebuilt and has a Hawk cam and
pistons, polished head, header, and thrush turbo muffler. The snorkel is homemade and
flows to the stock airbox w/ a k&n filter, the distributor vents are plumbed into the
airbox also.
