ZUKIWORLD'S Adventure Series 2002
The Adventure Series is a group of social/adventure outings for Suzuki 4x4 owners from around North America. This means SJ410, SJ413, Samurai, Sidekick, X-90, Tracker, Vitara, Grand Vitara, XL-7. If it's a Suzuki 4WD vehicle you qualify! The goal of The Adventure Series is to meet new people, see something you haven't seen before, learn something new, and traverse unfamiliar terrain that will test one's equipment, skills, and possibly, patience.

The Pine Mountain, Steen's Mountain, Alvord Desert Adventure consists of mostly graveled and dirt roads that go on forever. We are going to get to Pine Mt. for the University of Oregon tour Friday and then camp on the mountain,  Wander through central Oregon hitting points of interest on the map as we make our way to Steen's Mountain. We'll try and take most of the Steen's Mt.  'scenic loop' and end up at the large dry lake bed of Alvord Lake. Where we'll camp for one, maybe two nights playing around this area hunting for hot springs and things to see. Heading home on Monday.

When will it happen ?
The Pine Mountain, Steen's Mountain, Alvord Desert Adventure is set for May 24-27.
Where will it happen ?
See What do I have to do ?
Can I come ?
Yes, everyone owning and operating a Suzuki 4x4 (and their family) is invited.
What do I have to do ?
The Pine Mountain, Steen's Mountain, Alvord Desert Adventure participants need to do two things: 1. Send an email to ebewley@zukiworld.com which gets your name down on the list. 2. Show up at the designated meeting place at the designated time. (this information is returned to you when you sign up)
Who is paying for it ?
You are. This is an un-official non-sanctioned event. As always, every participant is responsible and liable for themselves.
Camping, Eating, Gas, etc ?
We will be on the trail heading towards items of interest. When we get hungry, we'll eat. When we get tired, we'll sleep. This will be random and on the trail. Bring what you need to be happy for 4 days on the trail. Fuel stops are few and far between. Make sure your vehicle has at least a 200 mile range. If you need to carry extra gas to get that far, bring it.
What else should I bring ?
You should bring everything you would need for 4 wheeling anywhere in the country. Bring your adventuresome spirit and sense of humor. We're going to have a H20 bottle rocket contest when we get to the Alvord desert so if you want to participate, go to www.h2orockets.com. It can snow in the Steens, so bring warm clothes as well as Summer clothes.
