Couldn't have asked for a better Zuwharrie
« on: April 12, 2005, 03:18:30 AM »
The weather was perfect, the trails were great, and the times were good.  The LawDog broke unexpectedly at the last minute, so I had to ride with RealRedSammi, but I still had a blast.  Goin' back in October again! The little bit of rain on Friday helped make some interesting trail conditions and then the weather cleared up and was perfect for the rest of the weekend.  Thanks again Art and gang!

P.S.-Pics will follow, gotta get my man Buffy to e-mail 'em to me. Everyone start postin' your own though.

I had a great time, that was my 4th Zu and the rain on thurs/fri really made the trails a slippery blast and kept down the dust!

The erosion over the winter plus the wet clay really made some of the trails a step up from last time, i did everything but Daniel and DickyBell, Rocky Mount Loop was a hoot!
The hill climb on DutchJohn and WolfsDen were extra fun, esp in the rain Fri night..
As a trail leader i didn't get too many pictures.....sigh
This was on RockyMountLoop, looks small was a about knee high ledge
