It'za gonna be fun. A real nice adventure trip... I'll post up enough details and a rough itenerary, (SP?) so that people can plan, this week. I've got confirmations from two "off-line" enthusiasts so we're at three rigs, six people so far.

More / upcoming information will be posted in the Adventure Series forum... :)

So far:

1) Eric & Sara - Samurai
2) Stasi & ? - Samurai
3) Gene & Sharon - Samurai

Hey Eric, how much fuel should I plan on
carrying other than in the tank?

Are there going to be fueling stops along
the way, say every 300 miles or so ?

I kind of planned on haveing 10 extra and
10 in the tank at the start

This is an excellent question! BTW: You're really thinking about coming up? That's awesome! Anyway, back to the question... I've asked in the past and will ask this trip that each rig have the capability to go 200 miles on the gas they are carrying. For most people with 'pretty stock' rigs this is just the regular range of the vehicle.

The friends I got the coordinates for the route we're going to take did have some fuel issues on this last leg. Up until the last leg no one but me  :-[ had any problems.

Dale, from the group that I started this trail with did a series of web pages describing the adventure. These pages and the ZUKIWORLD articles should give you a good idea of what to expect.

What Dale called "leg 3" is the section we'll be traveling.

Not that I know of. One can purchase the maps at http://oohva.org Of course, I'll give a CD of the GPS coords that we use plus coord to the rest of the trail to those that come along on the adventure! Just ask!  ;)
