Lock your hubs, drop in low and hang on to the big wheel. It will go places you have never gone before....enjoy ! The upside is you will break less stuff in a stock Sam.

I got the same sitiuation man, Im in hundreds of $ in debt just to get the d|removethispart|@mn thing running.

I agree just go I wheeled mine stock for a year and a half.
it was a blast. and WE did all the same trails that we do now just with different lines.

First upgrade for a straight wheeling rig, lockers front and rear.  Then you can power through just about anything.  :D

stock samurai's always suprise me out wheel'n.
1" shackle lift and alittle bigger tire (good used ones) would be the first thing I would do if on a tight budget. I've always built my own mod parts for that reason. money, money, monkey!

Stock samurai with lockers will go through the rubicon. Too many guys waste $$$ on wheels & lift before getting lockers. If I ever built a sami again, it would be on 29" tires & stock wheels, 4:1 transfer case gears, locked front & rear, kick power steering.

With this setup, you can go virtually anywhere, it's cheap - and no worries about breakage.
