Hello,

A small group of us are going to do The Crushers and other assorted hard trails this Saturday. If you've got lockers (front and rear), winch, and low gears, come on along! We're meeting at the Log Cabin Restaurant on HWY 26 at 9AM. Please post if you have any questions...

Wow, had a great day of wheeling Saturday. Turnout was small but capable with 5 rigs. 3 of which decided to due the little crusher. Sky with his Fourrunner on 37" MTRs, dual cases, and nicely leaf sprung, full armor. Mike in an early s-10 Blazer with full size running gear and a 4.3, with 37" MTRs, and Me, Sidekick with 33" MTR (sure seeing a lot of MTRs Goodyears on the trails lately. :) ) The other two rigs were XJ's with 33" and 31" inchers.

Anyway, the Little Crusher was cool. It seems to change every time I run it and this time I really really bashed in the door and rear quarter on my side against a Sidekick sized rock that just didn't want to move. Luckily I didn't break the window. So that turned out cool. Sky and Mike with their longer rigs had to jockey around several times to miss this 'sneeky' boulder but they managed just fine.

After Crushers we did what we could of Hog's back on the way down to do Archers. Unfortunately both trails have been recently "maintained" so they are not very rutted, stepped, or dug out making them a little blah but they'll be better later in the season.

All in all, it was fun...

Hey, the weekends come up quickly.... :) Have you and/or Jay's group decided on when you're coming down to wheel TSF? Besides, isn't your Sidekick broken / in build up?

Yeh, yeh, yeh.  She's still apart, and I don't know what they are thinking.  I'm not a member.  I still have my ZR2.  Of course, I don't know if my Claws could have kept up with all those MTRs :P
