Looks like a great time. Cool pics.  How did the SAS treat you. Everything work OK?

This looks like fun. I'm interested in how a "trial" is run. Is it basically a short course 'track' that is marked (instead/ no route book like a rally) and it's run for time? Quickest wins or goal time?

sorry for the delay ,    I can send you teh trial rules if you liek ,
Basically its not timed.  you start at gate 10 and work you way to 1.  You dont have a book but your allowed to walk the course before it starts.
You must keep forward momentum at all times and if you hit a gate or stop that is your round over.   You start with 10 points and each gate you clear you deduct a point.  a clear round is 0 and its the person with the lowest scrow wins.

very easy but effective way to please .

Zig,  i didnt get my truck to it , i got the axle back together and went out for a quick road test to find i have used the wrong size bolts on teh panard and my king pins have play the combination of both caused it to wobby like crazy and i had run out of time to get new bolts as I wanted to setup the trial section before it got dark.

im actually off home now to get new bolts tighten the king pins re fit the steering damper and road test number 2. will take more pics and up date my live axle thread tonight uk time

Cool, good luck correcting the problem today/tonight.

Your course/trail riding sounds fun. It sounds like it is ran like our "rock crawling" competitions without the clock running. But I bet with the 10 point system you dont have to many people on the course for to long  8)

If you have a "copy" of the rules you operate your rides with could you send them to me? I would be interested in reading them. My club has a gathering every year to get the community interested in our sport and to educate them about what all we do as off-road enthusists (sp?) I think something like this set up on a vacant tract of land in town would attract ALOT of attention.
