I LOVE that red one with the tapered rear end.....what happened to his 4th wheel?!  Did he chain it up like that, or did it just sit level on it's own?

Not to mention the three weeled dounts on the way through the sand dunes  I had a blast hanging out at the melt... we need to ride again soon.

That would be the Esteemed Mr. Hagen who played a little too hard with one of his creations.

The axle shaft snapped off right at the end of the axle housing carrying away the wheel and - I suspect - the brake system.

I looked at it up close in camp (sorry I forgot to take a pic).  The axle was broken off just inside of the brake mounting flange and the flange itself was bent up a bit.

This truck drew lots of attention throughout the event!  Unique body and drivetrain work!
