'96 Tracker - Solid Front Axle Rock Crawler
« on: April 10, 2012, 08:01:20 AM »
Hey All,

I have been a member of the Zukiworld community for a long time, and have always LOVED wheeling in my '96 Tracker. I've built it up over the past 10+ years, and it is an amazing rig. Wheeled with the best of 'em, and shamed a lot of much larger, more built rigs. Sadly, the time has come where I have to let the Tracker go. I though you Tracker/Sidekick enthusiasts would be the best place for it to go to!
Here are it's specs:
-1996 Tracker (Black) 39,000 miles (I know - ridiculously low miles)
-5 speed manual trans
-SpiderTrax Sidewinder Solid Front Axle (Dana 44 outers/Tracker rear center section) 5.83 gears, Lockright, Chromoly shafts, full size warn hubs
-Ford 9" rear axle 5.83 gears, Detroit Locker, custom heavy duty rear drive shaft
-Calmini Rockcrawler 4.24:1 Transfer case gear reduction
-Custom 4" Lift - 4 link coil suspension front and rear - tons of travel
-3" Body Lift
-33x12.50 Goodyear MTRs on custom 15x8 black wheels - very low miles on these tires
-Calmini front and rear rock crawler bumpers with custom hi-lift mount on rear
-Custom 2"x3" rock sliders
-Calmini Full weld-in cage
-Calmini Headers with custom exhaust
-K&N Filter
-Bestop Black Soft top in great shape - also have a Bestop Hardtop (2 piece) that I will include if wanted.

This rig is a great rock crawler, and still drives well on-road too. And amazingly still gets 25 mpg driving to Moab! Body has seen a few hits, but is still in pretty good shape given where it's been.
Asking $8,000/obo. The parts alone are worth twice the asking price... I'm located in Colorado. I will be sad to let this one go.

Thanks - It really is a hell of a rig, and it wheels great. Get a lot of "what is that thing?" on the trail... Made a LOT of Jeeps look bad  :D
