Parting out 88 Samurai
« on: October 15, 2010, 03:52:32 PM »
I used to be a member here when I had a couple trackers, but can't login with my old username (TonkaTracker) so I created a new one to see if anyone is interested in parts off this beast.  1988 Samurai with hard fiberglass top.  This thing has been parked for about 8 years.  I was told it ran fine when parked, driver went blind and stopped driving it.  Lots of good parts, mostly stock.  Let me know what you need.  I'm located in Rochester, NY.  If anybody wants to come take the whole thing for $500 be my guest.  Good title.

Will get pics tomorrow.  Let me know what you need.

Battery tray is shot.  Clock, looks like this came without it.  I'm guessing it would have been in the empty round spot between the two heater vents in the middle?  Preheater hose...  probably there and good, but not sure what exactly you need.  Can you descibe what piece you need and where it's located?

Brett I will be pulling the driveshaft tomorrow.  I'll let you know how it goes.

Someone told me that if you clean up your axle and as long as its not bent or welded on trail tough will give you $75 for the housing just slap a shipping label on it and ship it to them.
