2.0 engine in a Sport??

2.0 engine in a Sport??

If my 1.8L finally gives up in my 97 Sport will a 2.0 bolt up and if so what else needs changed? I can't seem to find many 1.8L's but the 2.0 is easy to get from an 02-04 w/less than 30K.

The USA got the 1.8 but other markets got the 2.0  :)

Yes, and will fit like OEM. In fact, even a J23A (2.3L) that Aerio's +04 have will fit like OEM. Just be sure to use your 1.8 ECU, Cam Trigger, Intake/Exhaust manifolds and injectors. Other than that, just strap your ass down and prepare to fly!!!! Naaaahhhh, but you will feel the power for sure.

 The 2.0 that came in them in other markets were a V6, the same style as the 2.5 and 2.7 only smaller internally and a gutless turd.
