choice in lifts?

choice in lifts?

Hi, newbie here. I've been wanting a Jeep for more years than I care to count, but haven't got one, due to the financial constraints of working in the non-profit world.

So, I'm casting my eye on the more affordable Tracker/Sidekick/Vitaras. The two-door convertibles are attractive. I think if I got one, I'd want to run 30 or 31 inch tires.

My question is, what are the choices in available lift kits? I've only found the Calmini & Rocky Road kits. Is that all there is?

Your comments are welcome, and I'm glad to find an active forum for this not-so-common but fun vehiclce.

THATS ABOUT ALL THERE IS..AND STAY AWAY FROM THE SPORT MODEL KICK CAUSE VERY LIMITED PARTS FOR THAT VEHICLE....CALMINI IS THE WAY TO GO...MUCH MORE TO THE LIFT  THEN JUST BIGGER SPRINGS,SPACERS LONGER SHOCKS AND STRUTS..INMY OPINION CALMINI IS WORTH THE XTRA DOUGH ,LOOK AROUND AND I THINK THE FEELING IS MUTUAL ....

B - I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and have bought two Sidekicks (both Hard Tops) at the tune of $50.00 for the first one and it had 1,000.00 miles on it and the other one I paid $300.00 and it had 86,000 miles on it. The prices vary here the first one I bought was pure luck, I was in the right place at the right time. So if you're in the VA-DC Metro Area logon to
the local papers here online, and you can find what your looking for dirt cheap and what is dirt cheap you ask? $3,000.00 and under cheap, seems that people here are either for American Muscle or nothing. And these little known wonders exisit amist of it all.

Crab, did you type 50 bucks and 300 bucks right? ??? Seems unbelievable. I paid mine 3500 canadian (92 soft top with 144 000 km or 90 000 miles).

This is not a misprint you read it right 50 bucks and 300 bucks (American bucks)   :-*

I payed $600 bucks for mine 3 years ago with 114K on the clock.  AND MINE WAS ROLLED OVER!

$300! I imagine being around DC metro market inflates everything a bit. If I found a deal like that, I think I'd just take it. ;) Talk about bargain off-roading!
