camber bolts-where?
« on: June 11, 2004, 09:09:05 AM »
i did my budget 3" lift!  it really helped, lookes great and drives great... but.  i need those camber bolts.  ya, i know i could just ream the holes on the struts, but i want it set up right.  i contacted that ebay link and the guy was nice but said that his are only for 2x4 trackers.  whats the difference and where do i get ones for a 4x4 tracker?  and why would you want to raise a 2x4 one so hight that it would need one? hmmmmm

anyway if someone knows please share and when i get them on i will post some pics. 8)  thanks

Any auto parts store should have them, Up here in Canada..eh ;-) I got them at our local parts shop called Lordco. I'm pretty sure down where you are pep boys or places like that can help.

I walked in and asked for camber bolts for a Geo Tracker... they looked it up and grabbed the part for me.

Got mine at Advance Auto, ordered them in the morning and picked them up that afternoon. They were made in the USA, I don't want Chinese bolts on my suspension.

The first set I looked at said MADE IN CHINA. ::) I think it was at Autozone. If I remember correctly the ones I bought were made by TRW in the USA. I've broke too many Chinese Tools to put Chinese made Camber Bolts on my rig.

I've got them in mine right now,no problems, they are exactly like the Specialty products ones. I don't know why he said that, the products site doesn't say 2 or 4 wheel...both are the same spindle/strut.
