Can anyone enhance this wheelie photo
« on: May 09, 2004, 02:33:11 PM »

I'm hoping someone can blow this pic up without really distorting it to much. Anyhelp?

Here's my go at it:

I'm going to play with it a bit more to see if I can get it any clearer/larger.

I wouldn't say dumped the clutch, just released it a little faster than normal. ;)  In 2wdLo in 2nd gear this shot was taken with my buddy's cam phone. My digi is hard to catch it at the right time so this is the only pic I have. It hangs tires about 10" high.

This one is 640x480 rez.

You can downsize it a bit if you want and it will sharpen up more.

I was messing around, showing off
with my kids in the Trucklet, 2WD Low
and when we shifted from 1st to 2nd
the front end started pushing straight,
I don't know if the front was off the ground
but I was impressed.

I haven't done that since I boosted the turbo
to 9 PSI, it might be a good photo opp

;D

Driveline is fine. Yota cv shaft holds up really well to wheelies. Little concerned with the 5.125 R/P but so far so good. Tracton bar really saves the springs.

Kreg, thanks for the blowup.

k, i tried, first and second gear in lowrange... nothing
i dont care too much about doing this, but did you reverse a TINY bit, like 2kms per hour and then punch it in 1st?  i havent tried that yet
what are the odds something important is going to break? :P
Andrew

I did. with a 1.3 you take two freinds. one sammy and low range in two wheel. you have them stand in the back and yank on the roll bar when you dump the clutch....but unless you have a spare trany dont do it. i blew the lower shaft right thru the front cover on the trans ;D
