that is freaking gnarly.. I am with feerocknok on this one though.. why toy axles? I can't really back it up since I don't know all that much about is but even with the burfields swapped, that's only the front axle... they don't seem like very beefy axles. I don't know, maybe they are really good.. but I think it would be nice to have fully free floating the the back if you are going to have a serious off roading rig like that.. that way when you snap and axle.. very possible for many to snap any alxe, you can still drive it home... but yea, that kit is freaking badass, if it is a kit that is.. definately the best sas kick I have EVER seen in my life... yea, that thing has wicked skills!

Imagine a rockstar with this kit!

Take a close look and you will find it is the same set-up as on his rock buggy ( Crustacean ).
Toyota axles are actually a very good option - just about every country in the world has imported and sold the good old Toymotor nail - makes the kit a very universal option
Looks like he is running 33's - Toy axles will handle them easy
As we all know - you can buy just about any upgrade for Toy axles too - very clever marketing decision if you ask me

This is assuming we are looking at a kit in the first place of course

I have fallen in love with his front and rear bumpers, and that sas kit looks super too..

They have TC gears on sale again too.. lessee...

$300 for the front locker, carrier set up
$650 for the TC gears
$300 for the rear bumper
$330 for the front bumper

That's what projects are all about!  My daily driver was $3500, put 4 grand into it, and another 2 grand is coming for the new engine.

it has over 36" of articulation and is as stable on the road as a stocker, thanks to the captured springs
anyone that has ever had toyota axels apart will testify to there strength.IMO, with the right birfield they are tougher than D44's and almost as tough as D60's
trail tough is comming out with a bunch of new sidekick stuff, and yes as much as brent hated to use toyota stuff, it is the best decision, because they are bulletproof.
this kit drives like a dream, i liked it 2 years ago when he had it in his shop doing the r&d on the red car you are looking at. the finished product is beautifull.
you all might ask, how does jason know so much?
well at this time that kit and all the accessories are being put on a green 95 kick i hand picked for the occasion. mine will be running 33" tires (i dont want to trim).it will be the production kit, set to be on sale sometime soon.that is why my badass sammy is up 4 sale
i recommend to anyone that has thought of SAS to concider this kit, it is a bad ass setup.

Thanks for the info, it is a great looking kit. It makes the truck look stock, and much better aproach angles than the choice of leafs

i'm not affiliated with trail tough(they just hold deed to everything i own ) so you might just want to keep an eye on their website or give them a call for that info.considering that the platforms are so close (other than length), i would immagine that it could be adapted. i wanted a convertible so it wasnt even discussed. but the idea of a four door for the mrs. has crossed my mind too.

Yes It would ,That's why I been asking about toyota transfer case behind a Turbo 350..No u-joint mods,just longer or shorter...easy "bolt in stuff and easy to get parts".I just wonder the cost of the kit???Damn I bet with the 2'' of body lift I could run 33's and jump it!!!
