Drove my 87 Sammi rustbucket as a DD for the past 12 months, 52 miles a day r/t to work. Put about 20K miles on it last year.  Have it off the road now while I scavenge it to build up my new 89 project Sammi.

26 pretty nice miles through rural PA, windy roads through the hills and past farms, over covered bridges, etc.. Not a lot of highway. These little trucks are so fun to drive. I always called it my 4WD Porsche.

Can't wait to finish my new ride! Especially since my 93 cherokee uses 40% MORE GAS!!  :(

Mine was used on and off when i first got her as a DD,but i've always had several vehicles at a time so depending on what i needed to do it got used as much as possible. And when it's really nice out i ride my bike to work.
Then i started on the swap and lost interest for a while, then after losing my job last year i started to work on it fulltime this summer, and finished the swap.
Now i'm in the process of getting everything cleaned up and 100%. So right now she's a garage princess, besides theres a TON of salt on the roads now.

Besides 32" swampers ain't any good on ice. outside of icee roads I drive it 4-5 days aweek.

I'm just east of Reading PA. We should hook up and run Paragon or Rausch Creek sometime - what's that around 2 hours from you, 1.5 from me? (I've never done either but can't wait to try, even the easy trails look like fun).  :D

My 89 project Sammi needs some more weekend work before I can hang the plates on her though, hopefully ready when the spring weather arrives.

I DD both of my 88 lifted samurai's, when it is icy like now I like to drive the one that has open diffs (no posi) and 31'' radial tsl's with 9psi but I only drive at about 40 mph on the freeway with them that low but they seem to stick better and the ride is nicer the way they plow the roads here. in town is rougher than off roading and it seems to take the abuse but has a nasty front drive line vib. while on hwy so most of the time it is in 2wd but does great so far. both of my samurai's have the drive line vib. but I hear that it is common on these and to ignor it! Mine was a daily driver but now I have to cover 120 miles a day I'm back on a motorcycle. It really wouldn't be worth me going to work with what the Vit costs to run - fuel is just way too expensive over here.
