Just knock the pins out, but they are
a pain to get back in, or remove the bolts
from the door or the body, makes little
difference, the hinge is a totally separate
part from the door.

I pop my fenders off, take the bolts out of the
door, you can do it with the door closed, then
just open the door, it comes off in your hands,
you might want to disconnect the wires to the
mirrors and the door stop so you don't have a
loose door and those things hanging you up.

I think he's talking samurai, those bolts have a real strong loc-tite on them and the only way to get them off is to heat them or drill them out!

Its easier to do that with a Track/Kick because you don't have the philips screws to deal with. You are probably better off cutting the hinges on the Sammy. I had to drill the heads of the screws on my 410, I tried an impact driver but I was just bashing the panels in with that.
On the Vit I had to grind the heads off the pins as they were a rivet type pin. I replaced them with the earlier type with the circlip.

Try this.

Smitty808 did the above  to my Samurai at the '05 Melt with great success.

If you are real anal and don't want to grind or bash the hinges/sheetmetal, you must carefully grind the heads off all the attaching bolts to remove the hinge parts.  Then use a pair of vice grips (with PB Blaster to help loosen everything up) and twist the bolt stubs out of their holes.

Sometimes you can get lucky with with one of those screw hammers, but it never worked for me...

To get the bolts out of the hinges on the samurai doors try this. Clean up the bolt head with a small grinder, and weld a nut on top of the phillips head screw. The heat from the welder will loosen up any thread lock, and the screw will turn out easily with a wrench or socket.

After you modify the hinges, reassemble with bolts instead of the phillips head screws. You will be able to tighten them, or remove them in the future now that they are bolts.  ;)

It has taken a few cuss words to have finally figured out how to do this quicker and easier. Alot of my screw hardware has since been replaced with bolts. Just take an old screw to the hardware store and match up the length, pitch, and so on.

You'll be happy you did.

And as far as the actual cutting of the hinges, follow the directions on the Izook link.

What he said!

I hadn't thought of tag-welding a nut onto the existing bolt.  Great idea!

Of course it requires the use of a wire welder...

Also, the hinge modification will be a lot neater if done in a vise instead of on the truck.

I cut the hinges on the truck.  It was very easy to do with a dremel.

Now it has removeable doors.   ;D

yall like to work hard, all i did was take a disc grinder and made the phillips into large flat head screws by slicing across the head of the screw as deep as i could without making them weak, next i took a chisel and stuck it in the crack and hammered counterclockwise and walah, in like 30 seconds total apiece done.
