How sad! He went through all that work and he can't afford to keep it right now. I think this needs a good home.

Might also be a front seal.  Those are easy enough to replace.

I can't imagine the gearing is that good, with stock gears and 38" tires.  I wonder if chromemoly front's would hold up to abuse with those tires...

38's and sami axles!?!? Stock Birfs in there too?   I dont think there would be any DD'ing with that gear set up....maybe in low range. ;)

The set up is cool it just needs some tweaking and beefin up.

You could get it, sell the wheels and tires....have enough for some smaller tires and a doubler, or something close to that maybe yota axles too.

Yeah, sell the tires for 800 and buy a toy axle for 100, Gears 200,

or just buy some 34x9.50's and buy some lockers.

I was about to say the same thing. Why go through all the trouble of doing a straight axle swap, just to use samurai axles, especially with that large of tires. I would have used the toyota pickup or landcruiser axles.
Runnin' it stock with 225/75R15s and an unmodified 8valve TBI motor (I need a doug thoroley header and a cam) (more power) (1.6 liters of madness) (vroom + sewing machine sounds)
