Ford 302 in a Samurai
« on: February 04, 2007, 01:36:27 PM »
Has anyone put a 302 in a Samurai?

If so how hard?
What lift did you need?
Will the transfer case hold up to the power?
I would put a card on it, so no computer.

I have a chance to get a free truck with a 302 that need some work.
I did a search but didn't see anything.

Thanks

I saw one on ebay a few months ago. It was in Hawaii. Had 35's. Looked like a monster. Kind of a waste of power if you ask me.  It's free, but I can't imagine the savings would be worth it once you factor in the mods and other components. Stick it in a maverick instead. My 2 cents.
