Front Diff. in Rear, Rear Diff. in Front?
« on: March 30, 2009, 06:37:14 PM »
O.K. I have to ask that age old question....If my rear diff. makes noise can I just swap spider gears and put the front diff. I the rear? The rear diff. makes noise under load so will it be fairly quiet in the front? I have found many different answers and I guess it is easy to get mixed info if you look too hard....How about answering it ONE MORE TIME....please please please please

What Vehicle? What Year?

Samurai?

Tracker/Sidekick?

I think Samurai's will swap.

Track/Kick will NOT.

I have some Track/Kick Third Members complete with 5.12's from a '96.

Send a PM if interested.  ;)

I did so when my rear diff started to make a noise at certain speeds and "klicking". But front diff got some aluminium alloy parts and I just don't know for how long is it going to work. Hope forever .
