No pics on this (newish) computer, but I am on 32x11.50's on stock Zuk rims, NON flipped! Tires hit the springs |removethispart|@ full lock, and I had to cut the bumpstops off the rear frame before they took out my sidewalls, but thats it. Remind me and I will try to get the pics moved.

A stock samurai rim is 7" or at least the ones I've seen. If they are the flat centers then you can flip them to get the right offset. You can weld the valve stem hole and re-drill the other side.

If your tires are going to be 10.5 you can get away with them on stock's or 8's but they need to be flipped or with a little offset. If they are 12.5 then you should have the 10" rims with 2.5 offset. You need the offset to clear the springs and it makes an awefull sound when the lugs on the tires grabs the springs.

We flipped the rims on the LJ80 to make it wider and then I went to 8's with offset. IT all depends on if you want them not to rub at all....around here the cops will look and if they rub at all they pull you off the road. It's not hard to see slash marks on the tires and rub marks on the fenders.

From what I have heard, no tall stock rims have flat centers, "Yes, the round hole rims (88.5-95) cannot run reversed.  Only the "wagon wheels" (86-88)are capable of running reversed.  "

as I said, 32x11.5's on stock 15x5.5 rims, NOT flipped. Sky stage 2 SPOA, only other mods to clear the tires was the bumper ends. IIRC That IS as far as the tires turn, they should be clipping the springs in that pic. Not enough to really notice driving tho.

On Ford P/U Rally Rims

i wouldn't run stock sammy rims on the street backwards. because when you run them backwards they dont draw up tight to your rear drums when you tighten the lugs.. you will have a 1/4" gap between the rim and drums. been their done that.... off road would probably be fine!

Wow revival of a 5 year old thread now that's nuts.

it'll work alot better if you've got some offset on the rims. Otherwise you'll rub on the springs and if they are aggressive then it'll make some noise.

Or make for a good parking brake! (or break if you are moving)
