Hey guys,

I'm looking to run 30x9.5x15 on my DD. Right now it is a bone stock 95 kick 2 door with a 3 speed. I don't want to run a body lift and don't want to do sheet metal trimming. Is anyone running this st up with only a suspension lift? I was thinking 4 door coils with 1.5" spacers and some offset rims, would this be enough? I would also consider 235/75/15, but would really prefer to get that extra inch.

The truck will be used for commuting and some light wheeling, for the hard stuff I have my SAS kick

I think it should work. Be careful with your offset if you don't want to trim the fender.

Not sure of how much offset that I would need, I really don't want to rub at full turn or full flex.

your might be lucky, but don't buy cheap tyres which may be bigger than advertsied and at 30" with no mods you are on the cusp...

you might need to dress back lightly the lower rear inner corners of the Front wheel arches as this is teh first points they touch on articulation combined with turning

You should be able to run 30's with your purposed set up. I sold the same set up to a fellow with a 99 Vit and he has the room easily for 30's. I ran 235's on my Vit with only minor rubbing. I believe the Kick is very similar.

Here is a 91 with the front and rear bumper trimmed and 30x9.5" tires under it.  The only modification is 4 door spings.



While the rear is good to go the front does rub on the top of the body after heavy impacts.  We also had to adjust the steering stops out a bit so the tires don't rub on the frame.

i got 30x 9.5 but have 2"BL tires dont rub  at full lock but full flex they will i used ford rims with 3.75 offset bit the rim centers will have to be honed out as they are not big enough with the ford rims the tires stick out alittle bit more like 1.5-2 inches

With 4 door coils AND spacers you will have zero down travel. I think you will also need strut spacers to make it work. Here is a photo of stock(right) vs 4 door(left). Hard to see but look at the lower A- arm angle.

As you can see the lift amount is not that different. I have WAY more travel though, especially in the rear. I did have to make some custom shock mounts for the rear to get all that travel.


Oh you will also have to lower your bumpstops or else risk destroying your shocks/struts.

I will definetly be putting strut spacers. This is for my DD, so I'm just looking to get a more aggressive look and a little more ground clerance in the snow( I live in Quebec ). I will for sure do a little light wheeling thats why I asked if they will rub at full flex. I have a sidekick with a sammy axle and tons of flex for the hardcore stuff . From the answers I'm seeing I should be ok with the 30's and I think with only 2.5" of lift it shouldn't be too hard on the CVs.
