samurai overheating follow-up

Kind of a follow-up to my earlier post.

I tried some of the sealer that you put right into the radiator. It did nothing for the leak but left some gook. It was the stuff that you add right with the coolant. Waste of money. Instead, I went ahead and flushed the whole system and tried some of the bars stuff.

Not sure how long it will last. Just didn't have the time to do it right since I work 6 12's a week. Here's what I did as per instructions. Worth a shot.

You warm up the vehicle and idle it for 5 minutes with the water/bars mix.
Then you cool it off and top it off and run it for 15 minutes.
Then you cool it off and top it off and run it at 1500 for 20 minutes to an hour.
I did all this while I was mowing the lawn. Just stopped mowing and did the vehicle stuff and kept mowing. Back and forth.
It seems to have worked so far but won't know until I drive it back and forth to work tonight.
I let the vehicle sit with everything drained and the waterneck off for 12-24 hours as per instructions, and water flushed the system and filled with the proper coolant mix.

I'm kind of skeptical. If it seems to work, I will put a thermostat back in next weekend and monitor it. I'll keep you posted-- If I don't sell it first. I would like to buy one with some mods already done since I don't have the time to do them anyways.
