Alright I have a question that surely one of you more samurai smart guys can answer. I have recently taken out my transmission on 1987 suzuki samurai 5 speed. I have found a large problem. The gear right after the input shaft is completely torn up. All I need to know is what gear it is and where can I get it.

Please Help!!

The broken gear is the one I need

Hub & sleeve, synchronizer, high speed #24410-83000

Going to have to dumb that down for me I have no clue what you said I just need that gear I have everything else

There's a limit to how far you can "dumb" things down - that's the name & part number of the "gear" you're looking for.

Gotcha I do not need a new sleeve or syncronizer though because it is still good
