ARB's in GV revisited

The overall measurement (end of spline to cup) is 102.5mm, from end of spline to shoulder is  38mm.

All you can do with the longer axle is try but I don't think it will work, I can't try it at the moment for you as I have no 3rds assembled. Can you find a short Vit 26 spline locally to use  ? I could look here for you if you like ?

I only have my front 5.83 and are waiting for Calmini to send out the rear (12 bolt type) with my Anvil, I hoping from what I've heard to have it shipped out this week.  
Kinda a pi$$ off not having it running as I'm off work for a while  and could be putting it to good use ::)

Thanks Shane. I can only pickup a short 26 from Suzuki (none of the wreckers can help) and it will have to come from Japan. I have a guy who could trim it and re-spline it for about the same money so new makes more sense. I was told by Calmini the 5.83's won't be in stock until at least mid Feb and from another source they won't have them til the last week in Feb.

Sorry, it's been a while since I checked the board.  I have the air actuated front hubs.

OK, You'd need a set of free wheeling hubs, left inner axle and right inner C/V from a non air actuated 26 spline donor rig.

Although ARB say you need to swap to a Vitara 3rd I have measured the G/V (steel air model) and Vit (alloy  FWH model :o) and can find no difference.

I suggest though if your going ahead with it to email ARB USA and get their opinion of what you need to make it work , I hope you don't get the same response I got from my ARB agent "Dunno - let me know how you get on with it"   ???

Now I am just wondering if you can tell me whether I have the steel diff, or the alloy one.  I have an '01 Tracker with 2.0 liter four and a 5spd.

Over here you spec tracker wouldnt have a steel , they came on v6 2.5 and diesel but im sure someone else will confirm
