Good luck finding a used motor. for less then 1k.  all of the wrecking yards I called say, the ones worth haveing last about 10min in the yard.

Try Engine rebuildering shops for ordering in the used (I heard around 30k miles) Engines from Japan.
Most wrecking yards are Rip offs Unless your calling HAWKS.

1k to 2k for a motor with 30 - 80k miles on it had a shope quote me 5k installed !!!!!!    !!!!   think they like the crack pipe a bit to much

I paid $1300 shipped Canadian for my honda engine, it came with a tranni, axles and computer plus an alternator, starter, ps and ac pump were still bolted on! 140hp engine with <80k km. Got it from Japan Auto in Ontario.
