Does anyone know if the Suzuki OBD2 system uses a two-pulse (2000 pulses per mile) square wave (D.C. current or direct current), or a four-pulse (4000 pulses per mile) sine-wave (A.C. current or alternating current), or something entirely different.

Any ideas on what the signal is?

Yeah, good question. I'm talking about a XL.7 which uses a speed sensor that plugs into the same whole that the old speed cable does for the Sidekick. Pop one out, pop the other in, EXCEPT the gears are different sizes. Anyway, I'm looking at doing some adapting with a product from JTR. So, I'm looking for what signal would make the XL.7 ECM happy.

AJMBLAZER was looking at a fix for a GV speedo, he might have come up with something. Have you got any information, a schematic or anything? Even a pic of the sensor and gear would help.
