The TT kits looks like it uses a shim on the (US) drivers side to level up the motor, the Petroworks kit has different mounts. Anyone know if the Petroworks mounts give any more clearance under the hood/bonnet?

I haven't seen any clearance issues with my TT conversion.  Most of the kits are really similar. And if you are look into the calimini kit you might be better served to call Hawk. The did the original R&D and production for calimini and they still produce a kit. My friend is running and has had zero problems with the kit.

Living equidistant between Hawk and TT has had a few advantages.  ;D

I run petroworks kit, it does lower your engine and also moves the front of the engine over to the passinger side in the u.s. for more room for the headder and also moves the rear of the trans down a little bit, the engine mounts that come with it are full circle mounts, not stock.

you might have to trim your fan shroud a little bit on the passinger side but other than that it's been working good for the last four or five years.
