Difference between cone and insert is how much you want to spend and what kind of driving you do...
Insert is the least expensive and generically the most practical for off road use.
Cone is great for pavement running and rice rockets but can lead to problems off road, tends to cost a little more too.
2" vs 2 1/4" exhaust
Mathmatically the optimum is the 2 1/4 for the 1.6 8 and 16 valve engines...2 inch will work just fine but if you are doing an exhaust might as well go for what should be the optimum.
Zag
first off
YOU RULE
those answers are freakin great
(im a little thrown back)
I intend to do my exhaust (very soon)
why is a 2.25 better than a 2, optimally?
what about when split to dual pipe (mathematically?)
this is what I wanted
Header -> CAT -> Muffler -> Duals
(so Im doing research into each one)
