Got my rotors and pads on

Well I got my rotors and pads on.

Easier than I planned and thought. Kinda scary that the only thing holding the rotor on is the caliper holder and rim.  :o

But anyways there on and I did it all by myself and it worked.  :P ::)

Shouldn't there be a large nut holding the rotor on? ???

You rebuilt your calipers, right? If not, the seal may be "gummy" and stick. (I gained 2MPG after rebuilding my calipers.)

No worries about the rotors. They only come off if the wheel falls off & then you have bigger problems. <g>

I am rather surprised at the rotors needing to be replaced. At 85K miles, my '94 showed very little wear on the rotors. Maybe the pads wore past the friction material?

Nope no nuts holding them on.

I have about 75K miles on mine and I noticed that the rotors were badly gouged at about 60K but just let it go untill I could come up with the cash. Pads were never worn past halfway.

No I didn't rebuild the calipers cause they were working good. I pushed it back in by hand. Her uncle said that they were in good shape.

And the money I saved doing it myself is just money I saved from paying someone else. No getting other things  :'(
