Well I got my rotors and pads on.
Easier than I planned and thought. Kinda scary that the only thing holding the rotor on is the caliper holder and rim.  
You rebuilt your calipers, right? If not, the seal may be "gummy" and stick. (I gained 2MPG after rebuilding my calipers.)
No worries about the rotors. They only come off if the wheel falls off & then you have bigger problems. <g>
I am rather surprised at the rotors needing to be replaced. At 85K miles, my '94 showed very little wear on the rotors. Maybe the pads wore past the friction material?
